Our service is specifically limited to providing laboratory test results obtained from the application of
standard materials test procedures to samples provided by the client. We supply tabulated results and
applicable graphs. Raw data is available on request. We do not offer engineering services, recommendations
or interpretation of test data.
We do not accept environmentally hazardous samples. Client is responsible for removal of contaminated samples
from PTi lab. Samples submitted from outside the State of California must meet exemption criteria from USDA
soil import regulations (i.e. Geologic and Engineering samples, not Agricultural or Environmental). Contact
PTi for additional information.
Bulk samples are held 45 days following completion of testing then disposed of unless return is requested in
writing by client. Unanalyzed portions of undisturbed samples and their original containers (rings, tubes,
etc.) are returned to client unless otherwise arranged. A sample return fee may be assessed.
Invoices are provided at completion of work and payment is due within 30 days. Balances due beyond 60 days
will be charged monthly interest at the rate of 1.5% (18% APR). Accounts more than 90 days past due become
C.O.D. until brought current. Third party billing is not accepted. A 50% surcharge is applied for rush testing.
